![]() Published by Nintendo, Excite Truck was the first game for the Wii that allowed the player to have their own music during the game instead of the music that came with the game. Excite Truck is controlled completely by the Wii remote – the Nunchuk attachment is not used at all. When you first play the game, you have to go through a series of practice trials and test in order to be deemed good enough to go on to the real game. After finishing your trials, you can move on to either single player or multiplayer modes. Your goal of course is not to cross the finish line before the other trucks (or players in the multiplayer mode). Rather your aim is to gather and collect stars and crossing the finish line first is one way of doing that. The more stars you collect, the more tracks and modes become available. However in multiplayer mode, when you cross the finish line first, you gain 15 stars – well worth the effort. You have your choice of 7 locales from around the world in which to race – more than enough to keep you busy in this wild monster truck game! |
