MTM1 for short, Monster Truck Madness was developed by Terminal Reality and published by Microsoft. In this game you get to choose a truck and compete against the computer in a choice of four modes. There is also the opportunity to compete against other players in DirectPlay mode.
MTM enjoyed popularity in the late 90s and there were communities of MTM players. In 1999 over 700 custom tracks were submitted to the unofficial fan site. This was up from 456 in 1998 and higher that the 464 in 2000.
