Published by Ubisoft, Monster 4x4 World Circuit is – wait for it – centered around Monster trucks. Release on the Xbox in 2006 it was later released for the Wii. This version is generally considered to have poorer graphics, soundtrack and a feel like it was rushed to publication.
One unique aspect of the game is the release for the Wii remote of a steering wheel shell. This peripheral controls the nitros on your truck and can be used to stunts as well as to brake and slow down. It really adds to the sense of play in the game.
As a sequel to Monster 4x4: Masters of Metal, this game lacks the Monster Jam license. There is also a sequel in the works being developed solely for the Wii.
