Developed by Reflections, Thunder Truck Rally allows players to select a 4x4 vehicle with monster truck tires or an actual monster truck. Joy of joys, you have the choice of smushing cars in an arena or racing.
When starting the game, you can choose your track and your game mode. Choosing racing mode, then you have to choose your track from numerous choices all featuring hair raising turns, bends and hills. Don’t apply too much power though – if you land too hard you could damage your engine.
You have a total of seven modes:
- Practice: just what it sounds like
- Championship: you compete against other players for gold
- Endurance: you play on four different tracks and have to make the checkpoints on time and in order.
- Circuit: you have a have a variety of circuits to race on.
- Car Crushing: perhaps the most fun for those with a destructive bent.
- Time Trials: make the best times on your choice of track
Plus there is a multiplayer option for each of the above modes. And you have driver upon driver upon driver to make your game even more exciting.
